Many parts of South east England and London have experienced flooding this week starting with heavy rainfall on Wednesday 2nd November 2022 continuing into Thursday 3rd November. Sections of the A41,M25 and A1 in north London were blocked due to flooding and parts of the A40.
London Fire Brigade commented that they were called to around 45 flooding related incidents overnight. These included rescuing people from flooded houses as well as stranded cars the BBC reported.
With flooding events becoming more common and severe we urge people to help protect their property and valuables by investing in flood protection.
