Where has our British summer gone?
It’s mid August and the Met Office have issued a yellow warning for rain.
The Met Office has issued a 21-hour yellow rain warning for a total of up to 80mm (3.1in) to fall over northern England and Wales throughout today until 9pm tonight.
The forecast is looking brighter for next week, but has it come too late for most families who have had a wash out summer break?
Heavy rain during summer is one of the most dangerous situations for surface water flooding, as the ground is just too dry to soak up all the rainfall.
Here at Floodsafe Projects we have many temporary flood control products that can be used to combat surface water flooding, one of them being the puddle pump.
If you need any help or advice on surface water flooding and flood mitigation products, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
