FloodSax are the original sandless sandbag and come in a flat packed box. When not inflated FloodSax are approximately the size of an A4 piece of paper. The benefit of the FloodSax is you can tailor the barrier structure, including stacking the FloodSax on top of each other.

How do Floodsax work?

FloodSax® work by soaking them with water.

The FloodSax® will then expand by absorbing the liquid to become taut within five minutes.

They are designed to mould into doorways to keep floodwater out and can be used for internal spills.

Floodsax are so easy to handle!

This man is carrying 20 FloodSax® which is equivalent to 400 kilos of filled sandbags.

100’s of FloodSax® can be transported to the scene by one person in a van or car.

A similar number of sandbags would need a lorry and a sizeable workforce.
